Erzulie Freda is probably the most popular of all the Lwas, both in New Orleans Voodoo as well as Haitian Vodou. She is the “goddess” people view as the most beautiful and the one who can help with love and romance. Her colors are pretty pinks and white, her Catholic syncretic Saint is a beautiful image - Our Lady of Sorrows (Mater Dolorosa) - and let’s face it, people like attractive people, places and things. And, they like the deities they worship to be attractive, too.
